Comcast has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am so aggravated with this company right now I am seriously considering canceling my services and moving to RCN.....seriously an hour on hold only to have them send my call elsewhere....I HATE COMCAST!!! DO NOT USE THIER SERVICES!!!

Throttled. Usage cap. Not allowed to use the service you pay for.
Drops service completely when throttling. Can not use with VOIP. Can not be used with any streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, etc).
Further, there is a 250 GB / month usage cap.
To me, that's false advertising. I am limited to 50% of what I am paying for? If I exceed 50% of what I'm paying for then my traffic is throttled or stopped? Further, I see nothing about the cap in my signup papers. My recourse? Find a lawyer (yeah, right) or find another service.

I have used Comcast for quite some time. Never been disappointed. I have never had an outage except when it gets hot, then my modem overheats. That isnt there problem and every so often I think they may have outages because the modem just wont connect but this only happens at night. Comcast has fast speed, but they do not allow personal servers at home. Some Broadband providers do and that is a bad mistake which slows everybody down. COmcast is smart to not allow such a thing. I am very happy with Comcast and I will recommend it to anyone. That is if you can afford it but I think it is worth it.

I have Comcast it is fast "When it is working" They constantly throttle my connection shutting me off. The Tech claimed it was water in the line (What a lier) So I downloaded and installed DosDragon.com's Anti-throttle, it fixed the problem by resetting my MAC address when I get shut off. but I would rather not be shut off by COMCAST. They LIED! If you are having the same problem you can get the software at http://www.dosdragon.com/antithrottle.zip It does not have an install you just need to place the program in a folder some where and run it. I checked the auto-start button so it runs on boot up.

I actually used to install the high speed interent service for Comcast awhile back. The service has gotten faster and faster. I think their homepage is ugly and the service is expensive but nothing can top the sheer speed of a cable internet connection. Unless you think you can shell out the cash for a T3 line? Excellent for gaming or anybody who likes to surf the web full throttle. If you have the cash I would definately recommend Comcast high speed internet.
