iPowerWeb was founded in 2001 and resides in Santa Monica, California. They offer shared and dedicated hosting services in both unix/linux and windows flavors. Their price for domain name registration is an unheard of $2.95/year. Recently they upgraded their account offerings significantly to include much more storage space and bandwith and also the ability to host up to 6 domain names on a single account.

we lost emails for 7 days, had 15 false promises ranging from it will be fixed in a couple of hours to in 24 hrs, they just cheat their clients
finally they asked me to pay 50 $ to transfer o other server, can't believe but it is what happned |

I have been with iPower for about three years, and they have gotten progressively worse. In the last few months alone they lost a big batch of my e-mails (irretrievably) several times, and my web site was down for an entire day. The problem is, when I've called tech support they really *don't care.* They were unhelpful and rude AND I had to wait to talk to them. As I said, at 1st they were great but as they've grown more popular, they've added more people than they can handle so they don't care if they lose you. Plus they put unauthorized charges on my credit card. Thumbs down! |

I had a site working good for about a month. I fatally made a call to tech support to fix a small problem with email. The lady reset something and the site went down. I have been down over a week now and went through about 12 techs, no-one knows anything. Each just passes it along. The wait for tech support is very long, about 12 to 23 minutes. I do not think any of their techs know their product. The problem couldn't be that major, it is that no-one can get to it or wants to. It has been a horrible experience. Ours is a product site and obviously, we're losing money. |

I was a customer for 4 years, and they just mess up my site and asked me $50 to get it back. I couldn't believe it. OH by the way their wait on the phone is 15 min -1 hour for either billing. |

I?ve been hosting with Ipowerweb for years now. I have only good service. I read all these articles that they are such a bad host and this is NOT true. I have over 300 domain names and shared hosting account with Ipowerweb also two awesome fast dedicated servers. They just upgraded their servers too.
I strongly recommend Ipowerweb for web design, web hosting, domain names, search engine optimization, eCommerce. They are good for everything they do. I will never change hosting companies and I will continue to use Ipowerweb and never change. I?ve had the pleasure working with Sales manager James Murphy and Search Engine Optimization specialist Steve Di Fabio on great service and massive website visits. Ipowerweb ranked my website in Google under the keywords I wanted and with in two weeks I was receiving phone calls. I have the pleasure of my own dedicated rep, Steve Di Fabio, that takes care of all my needs with no hold time at all and is extremely fast at what he does and gives the best customer service.
